Goodwill Industries of Kansas stores across the state are accepting nonperishable food donations through June 30 to help restock shelves of local food banks. Food donations can be made at the donation door or at the register inside the store during regular business hours at any of the 19 stores. Those who contribute are given a coupon for 10 percent off an entire in-store purchase. The Winfield Goodwill is participating in the event. Food is distributed to food banks and churches in the community in which it is donated. Most stores are open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday. Find a complete list of participating locations and store hours at goodwillks.org/locations.
