Four people were arrested by Arkansas City Police on drug charges, after a search warrant was exectuted in southeast Ark City. 31 year old Brandon Drum of Wichita, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Drum was locked up in the Cowley County Jail. 32 year old Amber Gonzalez of Newton, was charged with
criminal use of a financial card and theft of property totaling less than $1,000 in value.
Gonzalez was also locked up in the county jail in lieu of $2,000 bond. She since has posted bond and been released. 25 year old Celina Manivong of Winfield, was charged with one felony count each of no drug tax stamp, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of opiates or narcotics. She was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Manivong was also jailed in lieu of $10,000 bond. 41 year old Tori Morris of Winfield, was charged with two felony counts of possession of opiates or narcotics, plus one felony count each of no drug tax stamp and possession of a controlled substance. She also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Morris too was locked up behind bars in the county jail, in lieu of $14,500 bond. Seized in the raid as evidence were items including marijuana, a smoking device containing suspected drug residue, methamphetamine, and controlled substances.
