Well, that didn’t take long… The South Central Kansas Medical Center on Monday, announced that they are now seeking a new marketing director. Harold “Doc” Arnett will be leaving at the end of the year. Arnett has been with the hospital less than a year. He says he is leaving because he wants to spend more time traveling around the country to visit his 28 grandchildren with his wife. He also plans to continue working on home-remodeling projects, and he says he plans to remain as pastor of the Community Church in South Haven. Arnett is originally from Kentucky. He joined the medical center less than a year ago… last January. Hospital CEO Jeff Bowman told the local newspaper that the quality and skill levels of people now applying for the position are impressive, with more than 10 résumés submitted so far. Arnett agreed that the medical center would likely benefit by having someone with more marketing experience.
