According to an official release from “Doc” Arnett, South Central Kansas Medical Center’s
Director of Marketing, for the second time in thirty days, South Central Kansas Medical Center has received good news for its lab operations. Last month, the lab that handles all blood testing achieved a ‘Zero Deficiency’ report from the inspector. And just last week, the Mammography unit in the Radiology lab was awarded re-certification by the American College of Radiology. Katrenia Beane, team leader for the radiology unit says it is big news, because if they don’t achieve the high rating, they are not allowed to operate a Mammography Lab.
