The National Weather Service in Wichita has put out the warning for some strong to severe thunderstorms across the area on Friday afternoon and into Friday night. Forecasters say the storms could develop Friday in western Kansas on the dryline and move into eastern sections of the state by Friday night. They say that the storms are more likely however, to develop on Saturday, when severe storms are possible. Extensive clouds and ongoing rain Saturday morning might limit severe potential in the afternoon however. The storms, according to the experts, might actually hang around into Sunday, when again, they may be severe. The weather service is advising everyone to keep an eye on the forecasts. We’ll have the latest information as it develops for you, right here on the radio too.
