Two people were arrested Friday morning on drug and alcohol charges near the old West Chestnut Avenue bridge.
The Cowley County Sheriff’s Office says 21 year old Trenton Biddle of Garden City, was charged with suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of marijuana, possession of drug-use paraphernalia, interference with a law enforcement officer, furnishing alcohol to a minor and transporting an open container of alcohol.
He was locked up in the Cowley County Jail in lieu of $5,050 bond.
18 year old Kali Gourley of Arkansas City, was arrested on suspicion of interference with a law enforcement officer, possession or consumption of alcohol by a minor and transporting an open container of alcohol.
She was tossed in the county jail in lieu of $1,600 bond.
A third suspect has been identified, and charges against that person are pending.
