Mark your calendar for USD 470’s public budget hearings on Monday, Aug. 24 at Arkansas City Middle School. 🕔 5:15 p.m. – Revenue Neutral Rate hearing 🕠5:25 p.m. – Budget hearing 🕠5:30 p.m. – Regular Board of Education meeting USD 470 is proposing to exceed the Revenue Neutral Rate to repay bonds for facility projects approved by voters in November 2025. The increase is not for day-to-day operating costs. Community members are invited to attend and provide public comment. Budget information will be posted at usd470.com on Aug. 11.
