The City of Ark City says as summer winds down, many residents may be preparing to drain their pools. Before draining, please allow the pool water to sit for several days so the chlorine has time to dissipate. We also ask that you notify the City of Arkansas City Utility Billing Office at 620-441-4401 so the increased water flow is not mistaken for a water main break.
