Woman arrested by Newkirk police sentenced to prison on drug trafficking ch

Samantha Bailey, 38, Wichita, Kan., appeared in Kay County District Court last week with her attorney Chad Moody and entered guilty pleas to drug and firearm charges including aggravated trafficking in fentanyl. With District Attorney Brian Hermanson representing the state, Judge David Bandy sentenced Bailey to 20 years in prison with all but 10 years suspended. Bailey was also assessed a $250,000 fine with $248,000 of that suspended.
