More cases have been filed against Gage Michael Spears, 22, Ponca City, in Kay County District Court, raising the number filed to six.The latest two cases were filed on Aug. 17.In the first case, Spears faces a felony count of felony value false pretenses bogus check-con game, after a felony conviction.In the second case, Spears faces a misdemeanor count of obtaining cash and or merchandise by bogus check and or false pretenses.Investigators report that Spears is accused of writing three bogus checks to Harp’s Food in Newkirk totaling $138.77 between May 25-27th.
