The City of Ark City says last week, our Public Services Department identified a drain on Fourth Street that needed repair. After assessing the damage on Monday of this week, crews discovered the drain had completely collapsed. What started as a repair turned into a complete overhaul. They got to work, and the repairs are now finished. We’re just waiting for the concrete to cure before the street can fully reopen.
