Ark City Community Clean-Up Week is next week! City crews will collect non-household trash only from active sanitation customers. Place items next to your poly cart by 6 a.m. on your designated sanitation day. Routes might take longer than expected. There will be no return visits. There’s list of accepted and not accepted items up on the city’s Facebook page. They say items should be bundled, boxed, or tied. They must not weigh more than 50 pounds. They will accept indoor/outdoor furniture, appliances, kids’ toys, and grills – no propane tanks. They will not accept paint or chemicals, yard waste, electronic waste, construction material, or tires of any kind.
