The City of Ark City says great communities are built by people who give their time, share their talents, and make a difference in the lives of others. On Monday evening, the City of Arkansas City proudly honored John Sturd and Jay Warren as the 2026 Joe B. Avery Community Spirit Award recipients! Both men have spent decades serving Arkansas City through their leadership, volunteerism, and dedication to others.
