2 WINFIELD CITY EMPLOYEES TEST POSITIVE FOR CORONAVIRUS – BOTH NOW QUARANTINED AT HOME

Two Winfield city employees have tested positive for COVID-19. The two are said to be quarantined at home. The city says other employees who were in close contact with the affected workers or who worked in specific areas have also been tested, with all those results coming back negative. Extra disinfection has been performed in the affected work areas, but city officials declined to say which department or building the employees work in… citing confidentiality issues. Meanwhile, all city employees have been instructed to continue to be vigilant in monitoring for symptoms or signs of any sickness. Any employees that are ill for any reason have been instructed to stay home.
