The Kansas Department of Health and Environment on Monday documented 245 new COVID-19 cases, 19 new deaths and 13 new hospitalizations since Friday.

Overall, Kansas has seen 316,014 COVID-19 cases, 10,891 hospitalizations and 5,125 deaths. Fifteen children in Kansas have suffered from Multi-system Inflammatory Syndrome.

Cowley County has seen an overall total of 4,021 COVID-19 cases and 41 hospitalizations. Cowley County has seen eight new COVID-19 cases since Wednesday, June 9.

KDHE is also reporting that 2,265,189 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered. This includes 1,260,888 first doses and 1,004,301 second doses. Therefor, 43.3% of Kansans have been vaccinated with one dose, and 37.1% of Kansans are fully vaccinated.

There have been 2,848,840 doses of the vaccine distributed across Kansas. The state has distributed 2,031,480 doses while the Federal Pharmacy Program has administered 817,360 doses.
