The Kansas Department of Health and Environment on Wednesday said that the state has seen 601 new COVID-19 cases, 14 new deaths and 39 new hospitalizations since Monday, April 12.

Overall, Kansas has seen 305,320 COVID-19 cases, 4,944 deaths and 9,911 hospitalizations.

Cowley County overall has seen 3,904 COVID-19 cases and 38 hospitalizations. There have been zero new cases reported for the county since Monday.

In other COVID-related news from KDHE, more than 1,617,994 doses of the vaccine have been administered to Kansans. This includes 1,019,650 first doses and 598,344 second doses. This means that 35% of the state’s population has received at least one dose of the vaccine.

A total of 1,937,790 doses of the vaccine have been distributed across Kansas. This includes 1,626,480 doses by the State of Kansas and 311,310 doses by the Federal Pharmacy Program.
