The Kansas Department of Health and Environment announced Monday that the state has documented 615 new COVID-19 cases since Friday, March 19. Kansas has seen 300,125 COVID-19 cases overall.
The state’s death toll rose by eight as the overall total is at 4,850. The total of hospitalizations the state has seen in the past year is 9,619. There have been 1,002,010 negative test results.
Cowley County has seen an overall total of 3,883 COVID-19 cases and 37 hospitalizations.
As of Monday, 1,018,146 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered to Kansans. This includes 676,015 people vaccinated with the first dose and 342,068 vaccinated with the second dose. 23.2% of Kansans have been vaccinated with one dose.
1,352,330 total doses have been distributed with 1,086,390 doses by the state and 265,940 by the Federal Pharmacy Program.
