The Kansas Department of Health and Environment reported on Monday that there have been 639 new COVID-19 cases, eight deaths and 41 hospitalizations since Friday.
Kansas has seen 294,302 COVID-19 cases overall since the pandemic began last year. The death toll is now at 4,743, overall hospitalization total is at 9,290 and there have been 964,803 negative test results.
Cowley County has seen 15 new COVID-19 cases since Friday, February 26.

As for the COVID-19 vaccine, 584,468 doses of the vaccine have been administered to Kansans. There have been 393,860 individuals who received the first dose and 190,587 who have gotten the second dose. KDHE also says that 805,480 doses of the vaccine have been distributed, 668,140 by the state and 137,340 by the Federal Pharmacy Program.
13.5% of Kansans have been vaccinated with one dose.
