The case against Marty Anderson… who is faing charges including second degree murder, rape, and kidnapping, was rested Tuesday, with the defense calling no witnesses. Anderson’s attorney also declined to make an opening statement. Anderson is accused of shooting his ex-wife and taking her and her two daughters hostage in November 2018 at their home near Rock. He also faces charged connected to sex crimes he is accused of performing against one of his former stepdaughters prior to that hostage incident. Anderson has pled not guilty to all of charges. Closing arguments and jury deliberations are expected today.
