Ark City crews respond to structure fire

Arkansas City Fire Department responded to a structure fire Monday, Nov. 7, near South B Street and Taylor Avenue. At approximately 9:30 p.m., personnel arrived on the scene and discovered smoke from the
structure’s front entrance. Fire crews did quick work in extinguishing the fire. Winfield and Udall Fire Departments assisted ACFD. One firefighter was taken to the hospital for a minor non-fire-related injury. He was quickly treated and released.
