Hadley Colquhoun, Arkansas City High School senior, earned first place (of 177 entries) in the 2021 Congressional Art Contest hosted by the U.S. House of Representatives.
Hadley’s pencil drawing “2020” will soon be on display at the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington D.C. She also received a cash prize courtesy of Gary and Karma Mason.
In addition to this most recent award, Hadley earned Kansas Scholastic Art Awards including four gold keys and two silver keys. The gold key pieces qualified for national competition.
