Arkansas City Police arrested an Ark City man after they say he assaulted and battered officers. 36 year old Seth Easley is facing two felony counts of criminal threat; one felony count each of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer with a deadly weapon; interference with law enforcement; two counts of battery of a law enforcement officer; and one count each of battery and disorderly conduct. Easley was taken into custody with the assistance of a taser, after officers responded to a disturbance in the 600 block of West Cedar Avenue, and he threatened them with a shotgun. He was locked up in the Cowley County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bond.
