The Arkansas City school district continues to experience additional COVID-19 cases and close contacts resulting in quarantine. As a result of the current situation, all USD 470 students will continue to learn remotely until January 5, 2021. USD 470 Superintendent Dr. Ron Ballard said, “We have conferred with state and local health officials and unfortunately, conditions are anticipated to worsen, potentially throughout the holiday season.”
