Pursuant to new open meetings requirements set forth by the Kansas Attorney General’s Office, the City Commission of Arkansas City is now providing public notice that it will conduct its upcoming regular meeting entirely virtually, starting at 5:30pm on Tuesday. The public will not be permitted to physically attend the meeting due to the Executive Order which temporarily prohibits mass gatherings of 10 or more people to limit the spread of coronavirus. You can get official notice of this and all future virtual meetings by emailing Public Information Officer Andrew Lawson at [email protected] to request to be added to a notification list. Members of the public may listen to or observe this meeting through a number of methods, including using a computer, tablet or martphone and accessing the meeting through Go To Meeting Dot Com.
