Arkansas City Police arrested a woman on drug charges after a traffic stop near Arkansas City High School. 44 year old Amy Wingert was charged with one felony count each of no drug tax stamp and possession of methamphetamine. She was also charged with driving under the influence, driving with a suspended driver’s license, no proof of insurance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Wingert was locked up in the Cowley County Jail in lieu of $7,000 bond.
