The Arkansas City Community Band will begin their 149th season on Thursday June 18th. The concert will take place at the Wilson Park Rotunda at 7:30pm
To allow for the musicians to set up in a more spread out grouping than is normal, the band will set up on the floor of the rotunda. Concert goers are asked to bring their own lawn chairs and are highly encouraged to observe all social distancing expectations.
The band consists of musicians from a wide age range and with varying backgrounds who come together each summer to provide free public concerts. This first concert will include a variety of musical selections including traditional marches, folk songs and show tunes.
