Join Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor for the Summer Solstice Ball Drop in Memory of Karl Faidley from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 21 at Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor.
Their residents need your help today! Come out and enjoy live music by The Student Loans and a cool treat to kick off the summer season and raise funds for seniors who have outlived their financial resources through no fault of their own. The event will be on the front lawn at Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor, 1711 N. Fourth, in Arkansas City, Kansas.
RSVP by June 15 to Sarah Griggs at [email protected] or 620-442-8700.
Ball drop tickets sell for $10 each and can be purchased online here: https://giving.presbyterianmanors.org/…/arkansas…/…. Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor is excited to be able to continue their tradition of hosting the Karl Faidley Memorial Golf Ball Drop. Last year, more than $13,000 was raised with the sale of more than 440 golf balls.
“We are grateful to Evergy for working with us so we can continue our ball drop tradition and raise the necessary funds to supplement our Good Samaritan Program. Now you do not have to be a golfer and commit to a long day on the course to get involved and support this awesome program for seniors.” said Griggs.
The evening will begin with a welcome message and the ball drop, followed by music from The Student Loans from 6:20 to 8 p.m. and the distribution of cold treats.
