A stabbing incident that left three people hurt has led to an arrest. Winfield Police say Medesta Howe was booked into the Cowley County Jail, and was charged with two counts of aggravated battery. Police were called out at about 4:30 a.m. Saturday to the 900 block of East 15th Avenue, on a reported stabbing. Police found two men who had been stabbed, and they were taken to William Newton Hospital. Police learned the incident had taken place in the 800 block of East 13th Avenue in Winfield. Police also got a report of another stabbing victim in the 300 block of East 7th Avenue. Howe was identified as a injured party in that incident. Police say the three cases are connected.
