Bringing Union State Bank’s contribution to $100,000 since 2011, the bank has renewed its $10,000 annual pledge to the William Newton Healthcare Foundation. This pledge names Union State Bank as presenting sponsor for the foundation’s major fundraiser, a formal gala and benefit auction. Union State Bank has been supportive of William Newton Healthcare Foundation efforts since the non-profit was founded in 2007. Previous contributions from Union State Bank have supported physician recruitment, medical equipment upgrades, and various hospital renovations. This year’s contributions will be directed towards William Newton Hospital’s capital fundraising effort. In addition, Union State Bank’s $10,000 pledge will be counted towards Winfield Economic Development’s $500,000 corporate challenge gift.
