A woman who killed and beheaded a Wichita woman will learn her fate. Rachel Hilyard will be sentenced today in Sedgwick County District Court for the death of Micki Davis. Hilyard was found guilty of first-degree murder nearly eight months ago and faces a possible life sentence. She testified during her trial earlier this year that voices in her head told her to kill the 63-year-old Davis in April 2017.
