Visit Ark City says You are invited to join them today as they kick off the 6th Annual Juneteenth Cowley County Celebration with TKAAM at the Northwest Community Center Ark City, starting at 5:30p.m. Robin Henderson will be joined by Shane Carter, Executive Director of TKAAM – The Kansas African American Museum as we share a presentation and engage in meaningful dialogue about the contributions of Black and Brown Kansans throughout history, preserving our collective stories, community collaboration, and the significance of Juneteenth. Then, come celebrate with us on Friday, June 19th, our nation’s Juneteenth holiday, at the 6th Annual Juneteenth Family Fun Jamboree at Lovie Watson Park in Ark-City starting at 6pm.
