A Catholic church in Wichita is now closed… temporarily… after a priest there tested positive for COVID-19. Matt Davied of the Church of the Magdalen… via a Facebook post… said he woke up not feeling well on Wednesday, so he got tested. The test came back positive. Davied says he is now in isolation, but because the priests all live together in the rectory, a second priest is now in quarantine. That means all Masses at the church have been suspended for the time being, and live streams will also be temporarily discontinued. For most people, the coronavirus causes mild or moderate symptoms at worst, such as fever and cough that clear up in two to three weeks. For some however, especially older adults and people with pre-existing health problems, it can be more severe.
