COVID Exposure Reported At Frances Willard Elementary

USD 470 administration recently learned that some individuals at Frances Willard Elementary were exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19. With safety in mind, the City-Cowley County Health Department guided the district to suspend in-person learning for one class at Frances Willard – for 14 days. The affected individuals have already been contacted and were asked to isolate at home for that
duration and to continue learning remotely. In-person learning for that class is tentatively scheduled to resume on September 29th. The school district encourages families to monitor their health and to report potential COVID-19 symptoms to their physician or the health department.
