A Hall of Fame Coach has announced his retirement from Cowley College. Long-time Cowley College track and field head coach Mark Phillips has decided to step away from coaching at the end of the 2021 outdoor track and field season. Phillips came to Cowley in 2003 after spending the previous 12 years at Johnson County Community College, including four years as head coach. He was inducted into the Tiger Athletic Hall of Fame in 2019 and will soon be inducted into the NJCAA Coaches Association Hall of Fame at the national indoor track and field championships.
