Coronavirus restrictions are easing across the country, and here in our area, they may soon be eased as well. On Friday, local public health officer Thomas Langer said that if current trends continue, Cowley County could open back up in a couple of weeks. While testing continues to increase in Cowley County, there remains just one confirmed case of COVID-19 here since the start of the nationwide scare. On Friday,
Langer said he believes the governor’s stay-at-home order, currently effective until May 3rd, will be allowed to lapse, after which local jurisdictions will then be able to decide what precautions to take locally.
