COWLEY COUNTY FAIR CANCELLED THIS YEAR

The 2020 Cowley County Fair has been cancelled…. that according to a post on the Cowley County Fair Board’s official Facebook page that appeared around 10:30 Monday night. According to that post, the difficult decision to call off the fair this year, was made after consulting with officials from the city-county health department and the City of Winfield, over concerns about the spread of COVID-19. Similar concerns have also caused other organizations to cancel other area events this year, including the Walnut Valley Festival that was set for September.
