A man was arrested on drug charges after Cowley County deputies responded to a call on Friday night. Deputies went out to the 21000 block of Hoover Avenue for a disturbance, a little after 10 p.m. Friday, according to ctnewsonline.com. Undersheriff Christina McDonald said authorities seized a large quantity of marijuana. John Wilson was arrested for unlawful cultivation of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, distributing a controlled substance and criminal use of a weapon. He was released from jail on bond. Angela Wilson was arrested on an unrelated warrant.
