The final concert of the 149th season of the Arkansas City Community Band will take place tonight at 7:30 at the Wilson Park Rotunda. Concert goers are encouraged to bring their own lawn chair and practice all social distancing guidelines. This final concert will include a wide variety of music selected by members of the band including: ‘Home on the Range’; ‘Pentland Hills’ march; a medley from the ‘Grand Canyon Suite’; ‘Summertime’; ‘Clarinet Rag’; ‘Africa’; and the fun ‘Instant Concert’ which features short snippets of 30 famous melodies.
