A fundraiser is coming up on May 6th to support 19-year-old Gracie James, who was hit by a hit and run driver in Ark City earlier this year. “1st Annual Gift of Gracie” is set for the VFW in Ark City. She was left in a ditch near her home on February 5th. A neighbor saw her phone light and helped. The driver that hit her had no insurance, and so the medical bills are piling up. The event will include a meal for $10 a plate, plus raffles, a silent auction, and music.
