We’re coming off a busy holiday travel weekend, and so we’re watching gas prices. The average price of a gallon of regular unleaded in Kansas has fallen, but it’s still higher than where it was at this time last year. Gasbuddy.com puts the statewide average price for gasoline today at $3.12 a gallon, which is down 12 cents a gallon in the last week and it’s off more than 25 cents a gallon in the last month. A year ago the statewide average was $3.04 a gallon. By comparison the national average today is at $3.52 a gallon.
