The Winfield Area Chamber of Commerce’s Winfield 150 Committee is making plans to celebrate 150 years since the town’s incorporation date in 1873 and residents are invited to participate in the festivities. There are many ways to get involved, starting with becoming a sponsor of the celebration. The committee is also seeking businesses, individuals, or organizations to organize and run old- fashioned carnival games from 6:30-8:00 PM on Friday, June 2 nd . The Winfield 150 parade committee is encouraging residents, businesses and organizations to consider entering a float, vehicle, etc. into the Grand Parade taking place June 3 rd .
