Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach today announced that Erlin Y. Lagos-Gonzales, 43, of Garden City, has been charged with voluntary manslaughter in the August 31, 2026, killing of Adonis Edgardo Aguilar-Juarez at a livestock facility in Kearny County.
Lagos-Gonzales is a citizen of Honduras, and a final order of removal was issued against him by a U.S. immigration judge in absentia on July 24, 2025.
