IXL Elementary and Ark City High School have individuals with COVID-19.
All students and staff members considered to be close contacts have been notified and asked to quarantine for 14 days. To quarantine means to stay HOME for 14 days except to seek medical treatment. Also, even though we are in remote learning, please continue to notify your child’s school if they are ill or are quarantining as a close contact.
Due to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases within the Ark City school district, ACPS will no longer be sharing individual updates on social media or their website. Instead, they will be sharing a weekly overview called the “COVID-19 Dashboard” each Friday.
This time of remote learning is a great opportunity for ACPS to help slow the spread of COVID-19 in the community. Please follow the recommended health precautions, wear your mask, avoid gatherings, leave space between yourself and others, and practice good hygiene!
