The White House is classifying Kansas as a COVID-19 red zone. Kansas Governor Laura Kelly made the announcement yesterday and noted that the state has surpassed 100 new COVID-19 cases per 100-thousand people, and more than 10-percent who have been tested have the virus. Kansas has recorded more than 35-thousand coronavirus cases and 400 deaths during the pandemic.
