The Kansas Department of Health and Environment released their latest COVID-19 report on Monday. Latest data shows that Kansas has 470 new COVID-19 cases, 11 new deaths and 16 new hospitalizations reported since Friday, March 12.
The overall numbers for Kansas are 292,218 COVID-19 cases, 9,519 hospitalizations, 4,835 deaths and 990,945 COVID-19 cases.
Cowley County has seen six COVID-19 cases since Friday. Cowley County has seen an overall total of 3,877 COVID-19 cases and 37 hospitalizations.
The next update will be Wednesday morning.
As for the COVID-19 vaccine, 854,997 doses of the vaccine have been administered to Kansans. There have been 567,801 individuals who received the first dose and 287,021 who have gotten the second dose. KDHE also says that 1,173,280 doses of the vaccine have been distributed, 956,120 by the state and 217,160 by the Federal Pharmacy Program.
19.5% of Kansans have been vaccinated with one dose.
