The Kansas Department of Health and Environment on Wednesday documented 518 new COVID-19 cases, 13 new deaths and 45 new hospitalizations since Wednesday.

Overall, Kansas has seen 312,591 COVID-19 cases, 10,555 hospitalizations and 5,053 deaths. Fourteen children in Kansas have suffered from Multi-system Inflammatory Syndrome.

Cowley County has seen an overall total of 3,987 COVID-19 cases and 39 hospitalizations. Cowley County has seen five new COVID-19 cases since Wednesday.

KDHE is also reporting that 2,099,296 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered. This includes 1,178,999 first doses and 920,297 second doses. Therefor, 40.5% of Kansans have been vaccinated with one dose.

There have been 2,717,880 doses of the vaccine distributed across Kansas. The state has distributed 2,009,690 doses while the Federal Pharmacy Program has administered 708,190 doses.
