The Kansas Department of Health and Environment reported on Wednesday that there have been 807 new COVID-19 cases, 73 deaths documented and 65 hospitalizations since Monday.

Kansas has seen 295,109 COVID-19 cases overall since the pandemic began last year. The death toll is now at 4,816, overall hospitalization total is at 9,355 and there have been 969,651 negative test results.

Cowley County has seen 3,815 COVID-19 cases overall since a year ago in March 2020.

As for the COVID-19 vaccine, 614,166 doses of the vaccine have been administered to Kansans. There have been 411,379 individuals who received the first dose and 202,787 who have gotten the second dose. KDHE also says that 939,890 doses of the vaccine have been distributed, 793,010 by the state and 146,880 by the Federal Pharmacy Program.

14.1% of Kansans have been vaccinated with one dose.
