The Kansas Department of Health and Environment released an update on Wednesday showing that there have been 1,122 new COVID-19 cases statewide since Monday. KDHE also reports 81 new virus-related deaths and 86 new hospitalizations.

The state’s overall total of COVID-19 cases since last March is at 292,837, death toll is at 4,724, 9,189 Kansans overall have been hospitalized and over 162,000 Kansans have recovered from the virus.

Cowley County has seen 12 new COVID-19 cases, putting the overall numbers to 3,790 COVID-19 cases and 36 hospitalizations.
