The Kansas Department of Health and Environment reported on Monday that there’s been 429 new COVID-19 cases statewide since Friday. The state has seen an overall total of 301,862 COVID-19 cases.

In addition to new cases, KDHE also documented 11 new deaths and 18 new hospitalizations. The state’s death toll is at 4,902 and the amount of hospitalizations that have occurred now sits at 9,697.

Cowley County has seen an overall total of 3,894 COVID-19 cases and 38 hospitalizations. The number of active cases at this time is unknown.

As for vaccinations, the number of doses administered statewide is at 1,189,911. At least 777,311 Kansans have received the first dose of the vaccine and 412,538 Kansans have received the second dose.

According to KansasVaccine.gov, 26.7% of the state’s population has received one dose of the vaccine.
