The Kansas Department of Health and Environment on Monday says that they’ve documented 345 new COVID-19 cases, no new deaths and 31 new hospitalizations since Friday, May 7.

Overall, Kansas has seen 310,927 COVID-19 cases, 10,405 hospitalizations and 5,016 deaths. Fourteen children in Kansas have suffered from Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome.

Cowley County has seen an overall total of 3,965 COVID-19 cases and 39 hospitalizations. Cowley County has seen 13 new COVID-19 cases since Wednesday, May 5.

KDHE is also reporting that 2,027,182 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered. This includes 1,149,916 first doses and 877,266 second doses. Therefor, 39.5% of Kansans have been vaccinated with one dose.

There have been 2,652,360 doses of the vaccine distributed across Kansas. The state has distributed 1,988,190 doses while the Federal Pharmacy Program has administered 664,170 doses.
